Pastel shades and gingham checks are two summer trends that I will never tire of, as gingham has truly transcended beyond one particular era and has re-appeared in several collections time and time again.
Despite continued time spent indoors, Emma Roberts appetite for pretty dresses certainly hasn’t waned.
The looks like she’s very much ready for the beach, with her straw hat and cat eye sunglasses.
In this picture she looks very content and happy while wearing a Sleeper Marquise gingham dress which features a corset (we can guess why this dress has this feature), square neckline, and voluminous puffed sleeves which add to its romantic, nature while enhancing the vintage silhouette.
Inspired by the dresses worn in the French film Angélique, Marquise des Anges, the look was styled with Madewell’s Raen Flora cat eye sunglasses, celebrity favourite – Avenue the Label ‘Estelle’ fedora with a matchy pair of Rothy’s Merino loafers completing the look.
The only thing missing is a picnic basket or a raffia bag
