Emma Stone, Léa Seydoux and Alicia Vikander return as the faces of Louis Vuitton in this latest new campaign to launch the French house’s latest accessories offering.

The campaign – which was shot by British photographer Craig McDean – showcases the actresses embodying the chic appeal of the brand’s New Classics; a collection of three styles for the new season.

Modern whilst remaining true to the brand’s rich heritage, the three shapes consist of ‘The Capucines’, a boxy-shaped bag held by Emma Stone.

‘The Dauphine’, a medium sized classic spotted under the arm of Léa Seydoux.

The biggest surprise for me is the exclusion of Sophie Turner.

For me, she is the most consistent when it comes to representing Louis Vuitton in terms of being the most natural fit.

I’ve often wondered if her “star power” has anything to do with it, then I check myself by realise that she was in one of the biggest TV shows in the world, one of the biggest franchises in ‘X-Men,’ and she’s married to a Jonas brother.

What more does this girl need to do to get a campaign?

The other thing that struck me was the styling.

Looking over the most recent Louis Vuitton collections, it would appear that the focus isn’t on the clothes, as the bold colours, mish mash of prints and colours which we saw in the Pre-Fall and Fall 2020 collections, took a back seat from a more understated approach to allow the accessories to shine in this campaign.
