Marion Cotillard For Vogue Paris April 2020

Posted by Catherine Kallon

Marion Cotillard graces the cover of the April 2020 edition of Vogue Paris, which was shot Lachlan Bailey.

The French actress played a doctor who worked for the World Health Organisation in the 2011 movie ‘Contagion,’ directed by Steven Soderbergh, and eerily finds herself midst of a real-life pandemic.

Recently the face of Chanel’s iconic N°5 fragrance urged people to listen to health experts and stay at home.

Back to the cover which is full of charm.

I love the sense of luxurious comfort and glamour.

Many people say that editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt doesn’t put enough French women on cover of Vogue Paris, but here, she presented one of the -if not the – quintessential French girl in Marion.

We all look to fashion for inspiration, and this fills me with plenty enthusiasm for the beautiful season ahead.

It’s an interesting cover, it looks more like a inside editorial shot but it is does exude sensuality with the satin dress and it does feel an ad for staying at home but make it fashion.

Definitely looks exspensive and lux. White loose sleeves are a no-go for my clumbsy self…

Its a very soothing cover. I love when she embraces her elegant chic side rather than her crazy, ‘edgy’ side.
