Back on Tuesday (March 10), Heidi Klum was spotted out in Los Angeles.
When it comes to a staple like the humble trench coats, designers are doing their best to ensure this piece stay current.
While at the helm of Burberry for 17 years, Christopher Bailey gave us many unique and chic versions of the trench, and it looks like many other designers have taken on that baton.
Back in September trenches that debuted on the weren’t your standard beige toppers; instead, they were completely reimagined, with artful details like leather or check paneling, pleated and ruffled bodices, or even reconstructed with detachable skirts, side button details, open slit sleeves, and double lapels.
For the new Fall 2019 collaboration, Jeremy Scott has created a new iteration of the London Fog women’s trench coat which you can see on Heidi Klum.
Using his signature bold and playful style, the designer looked to streetwear references for inspiration and created a trench coat with a graffiti tag print that spells out “London.”
Despite the Heidi’s red turtleneck, the trench was still the centre piece of this day time look.
