Last week Emily Blunt was promoting ‘A Quite Place II’ on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden.’
There’s usually a simmering, smoldering feel to Emily’s outings, which is always presented with a discreetly feminine mood – as we saw in her Alexander McQueen dress – but on this occasion things felt more playful in Self-Portrait’s balloon-sleeve pussy-bow lace blouse and faux leather skirt from the Fall 2020 collection.
I love how the blouse is framed by a black grosgrain pussy bow to bring a touch of drama while the trims add vintage-inspired texture.
Some might feel that that the leather skirt feels too rebellious by contrast, but I feel a lot harmony here.
Malone Souliers ‘Madison’ boots completed her look.
Hopefully when things settle down we will finally get to see her London premiere dress, which I already know would’ve been amazing.
