Thandie Newton made a guest appearance on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ which aired on Monday (March 9), where she continued to promote season 3 of ‘Westworld.’
The British actress is usually awash with colour – her last appearance on the show is a glowing testament to that fact – but on this occasion she took a walk on the dark and romantic side of Dolce & Gabbana.
Dolce & Gabbana’s opulent expression of feminine tailoring was inspired by the tradition of Sicilian baroque; golden embroideries that recall Baroque mirrors and frames or embroideries made of small points inspired by dining room tapestries; which here translates in the expensive detailing on her waistcoat and trousers.
I’m not entirely sure which collection this look hails from, but it reminds me of the closing looks from the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012 collection.
Gianvito Rossi embellished metallic leather sandals and Sylva & Cie. Hemetite earrings completed her look.
