Janelle Monáe Wore Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture To The Harper’s Bazaar Exhibition

Janelle Monáe joined Gwyneth Paltrow, the Hadid’s and Demi Moore on the red carpet for Harper’s Bazaar Exhibition during Paris Fashion Week which was held at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs on Tuesday (February 26) in France.

Reason number….I’ve actually lost count…as to why Janelle Monáe in black and white will never be boring.

The singer-actress wore a look from the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall 2019 Haute Couture collection.

Who knew the French designer would become even more popular in retirement, as this is the third look we’ve seen on the red carpet following Jorja Smith and Kim Kardashian.

And it seems that the graphic trompe l’oeil digital print pieces are the current flavour of the month.

Kim, was my favourite, but this is a close runner up, as the fringe detailing gives this look a totally unique twist on the other two.

I admire Janelle’s restraint in only adding the beret and silver embellished Louboutins, as we all know she can overkill a look with her additions.
