Angela Sarafyan Wore Tadashi Shoji To The Opening Of Vanity Fair: Hollywood Calling

Angela Sarafyan attended the Vanity Fair and Annenberg Space for Photography’s Celebration of The Opening of Vanity Fair: Hollywood Calling on Tuesday (February 4) in Century City, California.

We all have a soft spot for Angela’s style, and this latest look isn’t about to change that feeling. Or will it?

Some might get a “too mature” vibe from this Tadashi Shoji Spring 2020 look, which feels perfect for Helen Mirren or Jane Fonda, and I would’ve agreed had it not been for the slit in the skirt.

I feel like the top half, mostly due to the collar, can translated to some as aging, so I do kinda wish that Angela had paired the skirt with a simple white t-shirt.

However, I strongly believe she did overcome the “mature” vibe and make this look work for her.

What are your thoughts?

It’s cool. The shades & prints is beautiful. It could work with a white shirt also, but it wouldn’t be unique.

This is so stunning and not aging at all. Love.

I didn’t get any ageing vibes either when I saw this.

I like this. Yes, the cut is mature but the print and Angela’s own confidence is giving this a funky sensual vibe that I’m into.

Doesn’t sing on her as is. Perhaps it is the poor lighting. I would like to see this on a silver fox because the colors with silvery hair might be more striking.

I agree a white t-shirt would have been a cooler, more fresh looking choice. The look as it is, is very elegant, but except from ageing the top I feel is also a little too dark for her.
With that being said, Tadashi Shoji is a very underrated designer! His clothes are always very elegant and classy.

    anonymous as always

She could make a blue bin liner work. I love it, and those bedroom eyes…

The top is very matronly. I think it makes the outfit mature and the slit does not overcome that. As stated, a different blouse would have made a huge difference. If I were a teacher gradin this, it would a B.
