Natalie Portman Wore Christian Dior To The Society of Camera Operators Lifetime Achievement Awards 2020

Natalie Portman Wore Christian Dior To The Society of Camera Operators Lifetime Achievement Awards 2020

Natalie Portman accepted the SOC’s Governors Award during The Society of Camera Operators Lifetime Achievement Awards held at the Loews Hollywood Hotel on Saturday (January 18) in California.

You probably saw the title and expected a black Dior dress, but Natalie stepped into her first Dior dress of 2020 wearing red wool and silk bustier dress from the Pre-Fall 2020 collection.

The style is simple, classic and elegant.  Three very strong Natalie Portman x Dior traits.  I’m really enjoying this rare ray of colour.

Some might question the champagne hued pumps here.

But I love how they add a fresh feel, and lightness to the look.

The alternative would’ve been black, which would’ve been the safe, predictable option.

Are you wishing she opted for the latter?

I really like how the skirt falls and that’s not just desperately trying to find something positive to say. That said, I hate everything else, including the make up that’s so smudged that I assume she put it down 12 hours earlier.

The dress needed light jewels, even something in the hair would have been nice. Too plain. And the heels the color is not right. Navy blue would have been nice, or purple. Or even a darker shade of red.

This is jaw dropping. I haven’t liked a Dior look in sooo long. The shoes are romantic and perfect.

This picture looks like it could’ve been taken in 2009, and I mean that in the best way possible.

Love the dress colour and cut. It needed some oomph though…jeweler, different shoes….

    I love it…she looks stunning. I don’t think a necklace would work…maybe larger earrings or bracelets…not both.

I love it all. But special mention goes to the cut of the dress. Also FC, can you post about the Duchess’ red dress at a recent reception at the palace? Its superb and i want to know your reaction.

Love this H2T. Great color and those pumps add an extra pop making the lack of jewelry fine by me.

I like the look and the shoe color makes up for the style so I’m still on board. I just wish she added a necklace.

This is screaming for a bold necklace or bracelets and much better shoes. And hair.

Classic and gorgeous but I do with there was a piece of jewelry or some fun hair here.

Can’t even begin to talk about how much I dislike the shoes here.

I love the dress and beauty but that dress is the perfect backdrop for great accessories which could have jazzed up this look.

I actually like the shoes here. The silk fabric from the dress to the pumps looks so luxurious.

    anonymous as always

This needed jewels. It’s too bare, though it’s a nice look I don’t hate the shoes with the dress.

What a bore and the hem length is super awkward.

I love everything, but the hair. Feels like a last minute ponytail.

I love this. It’s nothing new but it works. The fit is impeccable. she looks fresh and classic. The shoes could be better but I don’t mind
