Best Dressed Royal 2019 – Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge

Best Dressed Royal 2019 - Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge

I have been the biggest critic of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge in the past, but 2019 was her year.

She really stepped things up a gear.

Not by doing anything groundbreaking.  She’s just managed to elevate what she was doing before.

I’ve enjoyed the mix of colours, the introduction of new accessories like the Chanel bag she carried to the Angela Marmont Centre For UK Biodiversity visit.

The coat dresses are less frequent, the coats are a lot less stuffy and old lady-ish.

No one was more stylish than Catherine at Wimbledon, and her tour of India is one that can never be forgotten for the way she embraced the culture with each look from the moment she stepped off the plane.

I actually had goosebumps going over her looks this year.  That Royal Ascot Elie Saab was one of my favourites from her this year.

In 2019 we discovered that green was her favourite colours, but I would also say that it’s blue as well.
