Danai Gurira Wore Jonathan Cohen For The SAG Awards Nominations Announcement

Danai Gurira was up bright and early for the Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations announcement held at the Pacific Design Center on Wednesday (December 11) in West Hollywood, California.

‘The Walking Dead’ actress is known for her love for energetic designs, so while this was very much a formal occasion, I’m glad she didn’t lose her usual flare by wearing this dress from Jonathan Cohen’s Spring 2020 collection.

This dress, thanks to the caped sleeves, captures the spirit of nature in bloom with its intricate, colourful embroidery.

I love how the clean cut gives Danai a beautiful silhouette, with additional pops of colour via the pumps, and her nails enlivens this look further.

The 26th annual SAG Awards take place on Sunday, Jan. 19, 2020.
