As we head toward awards season, Dakota Johnson from the critically acclaimed ‘Peanut Butter Falcon’ made a guest appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ which aired today (November 27) in the US.
Before talking about the film, Ellen playfully accused Dakota of not inviting her to her 30th birthday party, which was an incredibly awkward way to start an interview.
Check has been having a bit of a renaissance.
The most fashionable trend has been to mix and match like Versace. N°21 suggested that we mix traditional motifs with more contemporary designs, while Michael Kors brought the grunge vibe back, with checked pants and maxi scarves.
Dakota brought back the elegance and charm of this trend wearing an Alessandra Rich Spring 2020 two-piece tweed checkered cropped jacket and skirt which is a textural take on the designers signature tailoring.
I love the ’80s First Lady fabulousness of it all.
This look also wouldn’t look out of place on ‘Dynasty.’
Dakota infused plenty of modernity into the look, adding simple Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals to the look, while her auburn hair fell over her shoulders.
