Charlize Theron In Tom Ford – 2019 Governors Awards

Charlize Theron kicks off my coverage of the 2019 Governors Awards hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on Sunday (October 27).

The South African actress’ style has been a unrecognisable of late, and we can’t put it down to just her hairstyle.

I feel like she’s going for a “less is more” approach, with “I just threw this on vibe,” rather than going high on glamour.

Usually I want high glamour, especially at an awards ceremony, but I’m not mad at this Tom Ford Spring 2020 ivory ball gown skirt, paired with a simple black t-shirt.

It must be the clean lines and nonchalance of it all that I’m drawn to.

Tom Ford heels and a velvet clutch, plus jewels from Ana Khouri, Eriness, and Jacquie Aiche completed her look.
