Cobie Smulders stopped by ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ to chat about her new ABC series, ‘Stumptown,’ on Wednesday (September 25).

Last month, we saw the actress flirting with the fall season in a velveteen look — and, now that the start of autumn is officially here, she again indulged her velvet affinity in a plum-swirled Prabal Gurung Resort 2020 dress styled with Olgana Paris sandals.

Despite its heavier textural effect, the look was effortless on Cobie — with plenty of perceived movement captured in the asymmetrical swag at the front.
