Front Row @ Ermenegildo Zegna XXX Spring 2020

Mahershala Ali, Mena Massoud, Riz Ahmed, Joan Smalls, Will Poulter, Quincy Brown, Toni Garrn, Karreuche Tran, and Victor Cruz attended the Ermenegildo Zegna XXX Spring  2020 Fashion Show held in Milan on Friday (June 14) in Italy, where they all wore Ermenegildo Zegna XXX.

The majority wore the Ermenegildo Zegna XXX ‘Claudio’ sneakers, which I feel is going to sway your feelings about these suave outings.

Mahershala Ali:  The king of red carpet cool was looking very handsome in his single button rose-pink suit, but those ‘Claudio’ sneakers are like a dagger to my heart.

Toni Garrn:  The model is very much a gala gown kinda girl, so I was happy to see her rock this magenta slim-fit suit which has the same peak  labels and single button design as Mahershala’s suit.

Call me crazy, but I don’t mind the sneakers with this suit.

Riz Ahmed: I’m not surprised to see Riz successfully incorporate the ‘Claudio’ sneakers into his striped look.  The footwear works better with a more laid back look.

Mena Massoud: Following his trip to Florence where the look was all about a bold pattern, the ‘Aladdin’ star kept things simple in his crisp off-white suit.

Joan Smalls: The model opted to swerve those ‘Claudio’ sneakers like I do when I see iceberg lettuce on my plate.  And it was the right thing to do, as they wouldn’t have worked well with her floral jacquard suit.

Quincy Brown: The actor continued to prove that he has great style in this saffron-hued suit.  This is such a great colour for summer.

Victor Cruz:  The bomber suit continues to be a thing, and  it works well with his contrasting ‘Claudio’ sneakers.

Karreuche Tran: The actress cuddled up to her man rocking a bronzed Ermenegildo Zegna XXX suit. I don’t like the clutch bag with this look.

Will Poulter: I love the swirly print on Will’s Ermenegildo Zegna XXX suit, but I wish it has been paired with a t-white shirt, or a lighter grey t-shirt like his ‘Claudio’ sneakers.

Riz’s ‘suit’ looked hideous. Like some 1970s polyester leisurewear. Is there anything original in fashion these days?

I have no idea why Riz is being pushed as some sort of fashionista, he’s handsome for sure, which, of course, means: he will be getting more fashion invites and magazine editorials. Yet his socialist politics defy him walking around in $5000 leather jackets, $4000 suits and $900 sneakers. (The word is, he attended a few Stella McCartney events, yet had no idea who The Beatles were! Do your homework Riz!)

ur comment speaks racism and social discrimination.

RACISM & SOCIAL DISCRIMINATION!? I’ve been a huge fan of Riz and a backer of his career for many years. He’s a great actor and an activist! I’m also a Muslim of South Asian descent, clearly, you have NO clue what you are talking about!

I do find it a dichotomy when any celebrity, especially one who claims to be a Socialist, is parading around in extremely expensive high-end designer clothing and backing brands such as Audi, a brand whose origins are not exactly positive! Riz has being doing a lot of questionable promotions lately. He needs to research a lot of the brands he blindly promotes.

Get YOUR information straight before you accuse anyone of “racism and social discrimination”!

Those sneakers are hideous. Way too gigantic and just cartoonish looking,
So, Quincy Brown wins. Like the colors of his suit.

Yea, not feeling the suits and sneakers trend but I like majority of the suits otherwise. Mahershala should switch with Quincy that colour would’ve been divine on him.

The first two rows look fantastic from the ankles up. They’re not sneakers but Joan’s pumps don’t work either.

Victor and Will’s tracksuit pants disqualify them from the race. Like wtf.

I am gonna be the minority here, but for the first time I don’t hate the sneakers! Maybe cause I like the pastel hues and colour combinations, I find them kind of cool.

With that being said I love Mahershala’s and Toni’s looks here! I also like Will’s outfit but I would have preferred a more light coloured top, a white, a light grey or even maybe a lilac one?

    anonymous as always

Toni ruined a perfectly good look with those ugly sneakers. Joan and Karrueche look great. I don’t really like any of the men here.

I wouldn’t have picked sneakers for all the looks but some that don’t work as well is more just down to the colours that were picked -Will and Mahershala. Victor’s jacket and pants work better than most of the other examples of the trend.

Riz Ahmed wins for me, very laid back and very cool. Even this horrible sneakers look good.
    Quincy Brown also look great.

Thank you Joan for not wearing those ridiculous sneakers. The rest all look very good in their suits from ankles up.
