Tessa Thompson’s style has always seemed light-years ahead in many regards, and that was proven was once again at the ‘Men In Black: International’ world premiere held at AMC Lincoln Square on Tuesday (June 11) in New York City.

This custom silver dress is a beautiful statement of Kate and Laura Mulleavy’s vision of female empowerment through clothes.

Ushering in some serious ’80s inflection thanks to the architectural ruffles, this Rodarte silver metallic lamé was made for a world premiere of a film whose premise is space oddities.

I see this as a successful way to combine fashion and sci-fiction.

Even with all those ruffles, she totally owned this look.
