Chloe Sevigny Rocks A Mini With A Train For ‘The Dead Don’t Die’ New York Premiere

Chloe Sevigny in Marc Jacobs 'The Dead Don’t Die' New York Premiere

Much like Winnie Harlow and Selena Gomez, Chloe Sevigny’s style during Cannes Film Festival wasn’t meet with much enthusiasm.

So perhaps fashions most intriguing red carpet darling would fare better on home turf while attending the premiere of ‘The Dead Don’t Die’ in New York City on Monday (June 10).

We love Chloe because she never follows trends, and the fact that no print, colour or style appears to be off limits.

Well, there was just a little bit of everything going with Chloe’s Marc Jacobs Fall 2019 mini with a train, which may have some feeling that she’s “bitten off more than she can chew,” but I was very impressed with the way in which she works this gown.

What I failed to get on board with was the styling.

Mostly the shoes and hair department.

I can picture both Lady Gaga and Lily Collins wearing this piece with a neat, high bun.

This is a very Chloe-esque dress and it totally works for her but I agree she is failed by the styling here.

I really like the dress itself. Love it on the model. Her styling and the hair-make up department are lacking.

She looks like she’s having fun wearing the dress, and there is so much going on with the dress that the simplicity of hair and shoes works well – so easy to overdo the styling when the dress should do all the talking.

    Plus, pockets!

The true achievement of this look is how it manages to be so busy/try-hard and yet completely boring.

Chloe always picks a great piece and then lets it down with her styling, especially always with her shoes.

Yet again Chloe thinks that “styling” is a slash of unflattering orangey red lipstick and lank hair. Fail. Every time.

a big no to the shoes

Ill never understand her fashion sense or her styling (lack of)

It’s those shoes that really kill it for me. They would look hideous with anything. The look like cheap work shoes.

The dress is okay but this look is a fail because of the hair and shoes. I do not understand how Chloe is considered any kind of fashion maven. She has way more misses than hits.

      I really don’t understand!
