Toni Garrn In Ralph & Russo Couture – ‘Les Plus Belles Annees D’Une Vie’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Toni Garrn In Ralph & Russo Couture - ‘Les Plus Belles Annees D’Une Vie’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Toni Garrn was poised to bring plenty of glamour to the Cannes Film Festival premiere of ‘Les Plus Belles Annees D’Une Vie’ on Saturday (May 18) in France.

Sadly, I was left scratching my head with her latest look.

This Ralph & Russo Fall 2018 Couture gown had so much potential to be one of the best of the day, but I wish someone had taken scissors to the contrasting pink taffeta train.

I adore the burgundy and violet hues – I don’t mind that they are Fall-like – as they bring plenty of drama to this piece along with structured bodice and draped bustle.

But that train makes little to zero sense.

hmmm. im not hating this as much as others. I like the colors. I think the light train adds some contrast and interest.
I was thinking this was a good one lol

This reminds of Carey Mullighan Prada @ the met gala. Both the colors and how poorly constructed both gowns are.

I like it. I think she looks striking. The fit around the bust etc. for a change is good, and the satin looks luxurious and not cheap (like Elle’s pink dress). The train makes it a bit grander and offers a pleasant contrast.

    An awful mess.

Even when I put my thumb over the pink bit, it looks like a cheap mess of a gown.

so wrong for her, it’s dated and she looks best in sleeker designs

“But that [pink taffeta] train makes little to zero sense” – my thoughts exactly.
Especially when you look at it from the back.
