Penelope Cruz’s Colour-Block Frock For ‘The Journey By The Land’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall
I almost didn’t recognize Penélope Cruz at ‘The Journey By The Land’ Cannes Film Festival photocall on Thursday (May 16).
We have become so accustomed to her in all things black and Chanel, that I was delighted that she opted to treated us to a rare spark of colour in this Gabriela Hearst Spring 2019 dress, and it was a delightful switch in form.
I think it makes her look 20 years younger. She looks so refreshed here.
Although I was thrilled by the use of modern colour-blocking here, I wasn’t quite so enthused by the beige Jimmy Choo ‘Misty’ platform sandals. I would have preferred she echo a complementary hue in her shoes.
