Bella Hadid In Roberto Cavalli Archive – ‘Pain And Glory (Dolor Y Gloria/ Douleur Et Glorie)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Bella Hadid In Roberto Cavalli - ‘Pain And Glory (Dolor Y Gloria/ Douleur Et Glorie)’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Following the Dior tulle gown from last night, if you believed that Bella Hadid had opted to change direction for this 2019 Cannes Film Festival, it was short lived.

Because she was back to her sultry best for the ‘Pain And Glory (Dolor Y Gloria/ Douleur Et Glorie)’  premiere on Friday (May 17).

And you don’t get more sultry than Roberto Cavalli.

But this isn’t the first time this red asymmetric archive dress has appeared at Cannes.

Sharon Stone wore it back in 2013, and it looks as great now, as it did back then.

This dress was also worn by Maggie Q in ‘Mission Impossible III’.

There has been a slight update with ruby crystal embroidered neckline, but the major appeal is in the cut out and sultry slit.

Sorry but I can’t get past her too tight face

The dress (and the hair!) looks pretty dated from the front, but I really like the back. And the color is great.

    That 1998 hair tho……..

I clicked on the link for Sharon Stone and some of the comments said this was dated. Dated in 2013 = Dated in 2019. I am ignoring the hair.

Maggie Q looked divine, although I have had a girl crush on her ever since Nikita so I’m biased.

why does Bella have a nest on her head?

ugh, Seen a thousand versions of this dress on the rc. She’s done a 10 times better in the past…with red dresses too.
And her hair again looks odd.

Maggie Q outdid them all. I still remember that scene from that movie. She was soooo amazingly beautiful, I was just in awe.

Mimi Curtell, you fool. Get out of the styling business. You’ve ruined beautiful women like Priyanka and these Hadids. Awful.

    Probably her personal best.

the top reminds me of nicole Kidman’s Lanvin at Cannes but the skirt is like irina’s yellow Versace from last year with the ruching and the slit. Not imaginative and not even well executed as a look. The hair cheapens the overall effect considerably, an approach like the one she took with the red one shoulder Ralph Lauren dress she wore once would have worked better with this. This needed some edge to it.

That two toned hairstyle is no good. The red looks nice but that dress screams 2005 and not in a good way.

    That hair.
