Gabrielle Union Keeps The Plaid Trend Going In New York City

Gabrielle Union Keeps The Plaid Trend Going In New York City

Gabrielle Union showed she wasn’t afraid of colour when she stepped out in New York City on Tuesday (May 14).

The actress was a vibrant ray of sunshine as she made her way to press appointments to promote ‘L.A.’s Finest’ in Derek Lam Spring 2019.

Anyone surprised by the cotton candy pink jacket against the cheerful shades of yellow will see that she drew inspiration from the lookbook.

Her white sandals tie in the graphic print and add a bit more spring in her step.

With so much colour and a strong pattern, she didn’t overdo it with accessories.

For those keeping track, it was same check that Demi Moore and Mandy Moore wore.

Why do I have the feeling she is walking towards a very small car packed with 42 other circus performers…..

Sorry But how is this outfit any different than something a clown might wear? Just add suspenders and a giant bow tie maybe?!

This comment made me laugh out loud.

I would love to love it – it’s so bold and out-there – but I can’t. It’s too much. My eyes hurt.

no. They look like each part belongs to a different outfit. Its a really unattractive look.

This look is very random. It looks like she snatched three items from her closet without regard to how they work together. I’ve done that when in a rush so I can’t judge. Her for it if that is what happened. If these pieces were put together deliberately then, no.

I feel the cut of each look could have been improved. Something about them coming across as a tad sloppy/I’ll fitting rather fashionably loose. I love the colours and the print though.

From the neck up Gabrielle looks lovely but I hate everything about this whole look. Not a fan of the plaid shirt/blouse, large pants & blazer along with the ugly shoes.

I love the pants but I don’t think it works with the top and the jacket seems too big.
