Jourdan Dunn In Armani Prive – The Portrait Gala 2019

Jourdan Dunn In Armani Prive - The Portrait Gala 2019

At the Portrait Gala 2019 on Tuesday (March 12) in London, Alexa Chung may have been full bows ahead. But, Jourdan Dunn left her big bow at home, also joining Victoria Beckham for the event.

The bow on this Armani Prive Fall 2018 liquid-metallic gown was translated into a sash-like detail, creating a streamlined design more on par with the model’s aesthetic.

Regardless, I have a feeling she would have looked just a striking in the dress no matter the modifications. She was positively lustrous.

You may remember that Sara Sampaio wore the original version of this dress during Venice Film Festival.

Looks like a bad prom dress from the mall.

She looks beautiful and I love the dress both ways though it’s better with the BOW

Considering Alexa’s and Victoria’s outfits, I can’t tell if she was overdressed or they were underdressed.

    I prefer a BOW

She looks beautiful. I much prefer this without the bow.

I feel like with the bow this could have been a BDOTY contender or maybe I’m just picturing too much, but definitely it would have looked splendid, she has the silhouette to pull it off.

    Nonetheless, I really like it.

She looks great but I much prefer it worn with the bow.

I prefer this without the bow. Sleek, sophisticated and minimal. Gorgeous.

I prefer the dress without the bow.
    Jourdan looks great here.

P.S. Didn’t Sara Sampaio wore the version with the bow? In any case – I prefer the look on Jourdan.

She looks great, but I actually prefer the runway version, which Sara Sampaio wore last year. https://www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com/2018/08/29/sara-sampaio-in-armani-prive-first-man-venice-film-festival-premiere-opening-ceremony/

Jourdan looks great, of course, but this dress is just a touch too bridal and maybe even slightly dated because of the modification for my taste.

+1 it was better before her changes. Sara Sampaio wore it last year as presented and no one called it out as bridal

I agree this is a bit dated but I really like as this fabric is divine on her.
