You weren’t too enamored by Brie Larson’s Oscar gowns, so will she be able to win you over at the London premiere of ‘Captain Marvel’?
This film, which is the first female-led superhero film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has Brie playing ‘Captain Marvel,’ who wasn’t always a man.
Brie’s Valentino Haute Couture dress and cape was especially designed for her by Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli.
What do I love about the look?
The colour and the dramatic shape.
What threw me off?
The dress sits dangerously low. Therefore I prefer the look with the cape on her shoulders.
The gold lame lining kinda killed this for me entirely.
I’m sure there must be some medieval-comic book reference that perhaps I’m not understanding, but having based this on what I see, I’m not as excited as I want to, or should be.
But at least the lining wasn’t red.
Graziela Gems and Sara Weinstock jewels plus Christian Louboutin gold ‘Jonatina’ sandals completed her look.
