There may have been an all-black dress code at the 2019 Cesar Film Awards on Friday (February 22) in Paris, France, but Kristin Scott Thomas and Leila Bekhti went rogue.
Monica Bellucci: The Italian and black dresses are synonymous with each other, yet I’m never bored. Take this Alaïa gown for example with the off-the-shoulder neckline and semi-sheerness oozing a subtle sensuality that has me swooning. Cartier jewels rounded out the look.
Leila Bekhti: In going for the gentle elegance to Giambattista Valli’s cream gown, the French actress stood out in a sea of black gowns.
Elodie Bouchez: Anthony Vaccarello’s singular aesthetic is “always black, always sexy.” But on this occasion the latter wasn’t apparent; with elegance on the agenda. I love how the dramatic tulle with speckled polka dots lends opulence and flair to this dress. Elodie also dazzled in Cartier jewels.
Lea Drucker: Sparkling in Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture, Lea collected the César Award for Best Actress for ‘Custody.’
Karin Viard: Collecting the César Award for Best Supporting Actress for ‘Little Tickles,’ Karin also opted for a caped coat for her Christian Dior Haute Couture gown which was styled with Dior Joaillerie jewels.
Lily Rose Depp: No surprises to see Lily in Chanel.
