The 12th Annual Women in Film Oscar Nominees Party presented by Max Mara was hosted on Friday (February 22) in Los Angeles, California.
Kate Bosworth: The actress lost me when she opted to match her tan to her Max Mara burnt orange Pre-Fall 2019 suit.
Lake Bell: This Solace London Resort 2019 one-shoulder dress makes a cool statement with its asymmetrical design and exaggerated sleeve detail. Tamara Mellon’s signature ‘Frontline’ sandals and a clutch bag completed the look.
Rita Ora: This red carpet appeared to semi-laid-back until Rita stepped onto it in Jaime Major’s Resort 2019 feathered and lace gown and kimono. Nice to see that Rita’s ‘go big or go home’ rule always applies. Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Sophie’ slingbacks plus a Hearts On Fire ring completed her look.
Rowan Blanchard: The actress opted for a short and sharp number from Reem Acra.
Ashley Madekwe: I love this Max Mara Spring 2019 look, especially the detail on the trousers, but I’m wondering if Ashley considered the PVC top that appeared on the runway? Never one to opt for boring accessories, Jimmy Choo’s ‘Anissa Necklace’ clutch bag and strappy pumps completed her look.
Kiki Layne: A top to toe Kate Spade New York Fall 2019 look was presented by the brand ambassador in an array of luxe, warm autumnal hues.
Regina King: This Arias blue linen denim blazer and matching wide leg trousers from the Resort 2019 collection translated a little too heavy for my liking.
Angela Sarafyan: Much like Rita Ora, glamour was on the cards for Angela who stepped out in a lush velvet Rhea Costa dress styled with Jimmy Choo’s ‘Cloud’ clutch, Atelier Swarovski jewels and silver Nicholas Kirkwood ‘VV’ pumps.
