2019 Hollywood For Science Gala

Ahead of the Oscars this weekend, there was plenty of glamour on display at the 2019 Hollywood For Science Gala on Thursday (February 21) in Los Angeles, California.

Adriana Lima: For so long we’ve wanted something different from Adriana, and I feel following her departure from the VS family, we’re going to get our wish. The model was serving up futuristic glamour in David Koma’s Spring 2019 ruffled and mirrored flamenco-inspired look.  The cat-eyes really accentuate the drama. Christian Louboutin shoes, Chopard jewels and a Jimmy Choo clutch completed her look.

Taylor Hill: This Azzaro Spring 2019 Haute Couture was stunning on the runway, but Taylor is let down by the incredibly poor fit. From the bodice to the trousers. She shouldn’t have been allowed to leave the house like this. EFFY jewelry completed her look.

Gisele Bündchen: The supermodel was also stepping into unfamiliar territory in Stella McCartney, as she usually favours mini dresses.   On this occasion simple glamour was on the cards. Granted, this is nothing new from Stella, but that doesn’t stop it from being breath-taking. Nicholas Kirkwood sandals completed her look.

Nina Dobrev: The actress continues to present a reserved, grownup style of glamour in this Cushnie Pre-Fall 2019 frock. I have to say without the touches of embellishment and the Chopard earrings, this may have gone unnoticed. Jimmy Choo’s Clemmie clutch completed her look.

Praya Lundberg: I feel like this Ester Abner gown needed to be nipped in at the was just a little bit more to achieve a near perfect look. It almost feels a bit baggy here. ALEVì Milano sandals and Piaget jewels completed her look.

Isabeli Fontana: When it came to Isabeli, she was oozing perfection in her cut-out Colcci gown. I was totally enamored by the pale blue pumps here.

Josie Canseco: Kudos to Josie who was able to find a red form-fitting Yousef Aljasmi gown that sparkled as brightly as her Lark & Berry and Hearts On Fire jewels.

Jasmine Tookes: Honestly, this style dress from August Getty Atelier’s Spring 2018 collection isn’t really my thing, but Jasmine found a way to make me swoon.
