The front row of the Marc Jacobs Fall 2019 fashion show on Wednesday (February 13) in New York City had many modern muses.
Kerry Washington: The ‘Scandal’ actress looked lovely in frilled lavender. There are plenty of sweet elements but the casual knit helps offset the skirt. The short curly hair is fab, especially against the draping.
Rita Ora: The singer wasn’t afraid of exaggerated proportions in this statement mustard coat. The shimmering tights and shoes take it too far into doll territory.
Tracee Ellis Ross: Purplish gray might be a new favourite colour for people after seeing the prim-yet-sassy finish the ‘Black-ish’ actress’s outfit has.
Shailene Woodley: I almost mistook the ‘Big Little Lies’ actress for a runway model because of the directional hair and makeup. She is clearly enjoying playing into the fun-loving spirit of her tropical patterned dress.
Sofia Coppola: It’s always intriguing to see the director put her signature stamp on a look. She always manages to strike the right balance between retro charm and an effortless air, and this ensemble was no exception.
