Elisabeth Moss In Monique Lhuillier – 2019 SAG Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Elisabeth Moss In Monique Lhuillier - 2019 SAG Awards

Nominated for her work in ‘The Handmaid’s Tale,’ Elisabeth Moss attended the 2019 SAG Awards on Sunday (January 27) in LA.

Some of you were not loving her short look at the 2019 Golden Globes, so that won’t be an issue with this Monique Lhuillier Fall 2019 point d’esprit ball gown.

While there’s something that’s not quite sitting right with the black sash and the dropped waist, I am still glad she’s continuing to explore different styles of dress after what was once a bout of predictability.

The barely-there, subtle Jennifer Meyer jewelry also made for a modern finish to the more fairy-tale, princess-y look.

So ugly! Her golden globes look was bad and this is bad but in a completely different way. Why does her stylist hate her? The hair, the sash, the ball/prom wedding gown are just awful.

This is one of her better looks but I still don’t like it. I’m wishing for a more polished hairstyle.

I mean she looks nice but does also feel someone is reliving their final prom night

Agree about the sash and waist. I don’t know if it’s the camera angle, but the overall proportions look a little off.

it’s bizarre that she basically turns up in office wear to the globes and emmys yet wears a ball gown to the SAG awards?

This is so bad. Elizabeth Moss has access to A-List designers, so she doesn’t have to wear Monique Lhuillier.

Monique Lhuillier isn’t a European Couture house but is still “A- list”.

I feel like on anyone else this would be so wrong but she’s usually terrible on the red carpet so this is a win for her.

The dress looks fabulous on her. Its suits her body well.
The problem is the sash. It sits in a funny place sadly.
But her hair and makeup look good. Her face looks so fresh.
Its still a win overall because this has to be a personal best for her.

+1 hate the sash so much

This looks like somebody trying to repurpose a wedding dress by adding a black sash

This might be a personal best. I have been confused by her constantly being underdressed and always wearing short dresses to the biggest awards shows for the past two years or so. So this is definitely a breath of fresh air. The color works nicely for her and her beauty look is nice, too.
