Promo Tour Star Of The Year – Lady Gaga for ‘A Star Is Born’

A lot of you had predicted that Lady Gaga’s promo tour for ‘A Star Is Born’ would be the one-to-watch this year, but I was looking to Cate Blanchett for ‘Ocean’s 8’ and Emily Blunt for ‘Mary Poppins Returns.’

And how right you were.

She was so spectacular and mesmerizing throughout (even though some didn’t love her bespoke Givenchy for the LA premiere), that it almost felt odd calling her Lady Gaga, and not by her real name Stefani Germanotta, as they felt like two different people.

The tour was high on glamour – and Haute Couture – and void on gimmicks, giving us a taste of what’s to come in 2019 for awards season.

I have always been a Lady Gaga fan, but during this tour I fell in love with her, and then much deeper upon seeing the movie.

What was her best look on this tour?

Valentino Haute Couture by a long shot, followed by the Alexander McQueen which had just an equal measure of Gaga and Stefani.
