Rachel Brosnahan did a complete 180 from her colourful outing at ceremonial lighting of the Empire State Building, when she stepped onto the red carpet for ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ New York premiere on Thursday (November 29) in New York City.
From multi-colour in Oscar de la Renta, the actress opted for all black Elie Saab on this occasion.
I love how fluid tailoring meets feminine romance in this Spring 2019 black jumpsuit.
A study in modern elegance, its slim fit and tapered legs are beautifully punctuated by a front sweet bow and peplum at the waist.
Some of you may wish she saved her previous red sandals for a pop of colour with this look, but I feel she maximized this look with her dazzling embellished Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Sylvia’ sandals.

Dull and cheap looking.
I’m fine with the black sandals, I like the simple styling, it feels simple and effortless.
I dont know why stylists dont consider the surroundings of the red carpet much, isnt that the only place where the outifts are clicked (mostly). This jumpsuit and its details are lost with the dark backdrop.
This looks pretty dull and cheap IMO, and cheap it’s not something I usually used for Elie Saab clothes!
Rachel knows her style and doesn’t waver. I like that she’s not flip-flopping. You know, she and Camilla Belle have styles in common and consistency of style in common.
Her winning streak continues. I prefer the navy, however, but I think the black was a good choice for her.
