Debra Messing In Jovani – Project Angel Food’s 2018 Angel Awards

Debra Messing In Jovani - Project Angel Food's 2018 Angel Awards

Debra Messing attended the Project Angel Food’s 2018 Angel Awards on Saturday (August 18) in Hollywood, California.

Looking at Debra in this Jovani purple orchid ruched chiffon cross halter gown , I can hand on heart say she’s never looked better.

The gown isn’t ground-breaking. It possesses very familiar elements we’ve seen on the red carpet before, but that doesn’t stop this from being absolutely breath-taking.

    Love the colour

  2. Phee August 21, 2018 at 5:29 am #

Love the color!! Its a classic and personal best for her.

  3. Nadine Hughey August 21, 2018 at 3:01 am #

    Beautiful color, she looks great.

That color, love, love, love it. Spectacular with her hair color. One of her better looks, I’d say.

  5. alvarospain August 20, 2018 at 9:38 pm #

I like it, one of her best.

  6. JHH August 20, 2018 at 8:42 pm #

The color is lovely. The dress is dated and not well made but somehow, Debra Messing has never looked better.

She looks great! Obviously, it’s not the most fashion-forward turn, but you don’t need that all the time. She gives us a great moment with a gown in a stunning color and inch-perfect styling.

  8. Alina August 20, 2018 at 8:18 pm #

She looks great. It’s simple, but it works.

  9. Aubrey August 20, 2018 at 8:11 pm #

LOVE the color. However… getting some serious bridesmaid vibes.

    • meme August 20, 2018 at 8:25 pm #

SERIOUS bridesmaid vibes. And it’s dated.

I love the colour but at close inspection it looks poorly made. I don’t understand the reason for thoe 2 vertical seams in the front.

  11. TeaAtTwo August 20, 2018 at 7:34 pm #

It’s a beautiful colour with it looking great in her own shade. The design is classic but overall does have mid price department store impression.

This gown doesn’t set my world on fire but it’s flattering and fits well and Debra is beautiful.

This look actually makes me long for the days when everyone didn’t have stylists and fashion was less about who could wear the most expensive/exclusive.

It so sad that there are so few comments these days. This is such a great site, I would hate to see it close again.

    • Catherine Kallon August 20, 2018 at 6:23 pm #

It is sad, but I’m hoping things pick up when the larger events come back around. It’s summer, so I hope that is the reason.

Advertisers and brands look at engagement. If this continues to slide, it will effect the site. Fingers crossed that it doesn’t.

        Rooting for you , gurl!

        • Catherine Kallon August 20, 2018 at 8:16 pm #

          thanks a lot.

      • Karola August 20, 2018 at 9:22 pm #

Though I read the posts every day, I don’t get to comment much; however, if it helps keep the site working, I will try to do it more often. 🙂

I like to comment as much as possible. Up until about 2 months ago my name and email were autofilled and my comments would appear immediately. Then all of a sudden I now have to fill my name and email every time I comment and I am given notice that my comments will appear shortly. Not sure why that started happening? Not a big deal but just thought maybe you made changes to the comments? BY THE WAY you are never allowed to leave again Catherine – I adore this site!!

        • Mimi August 21, 2018 at 1:44 am #

Yes!! I’ve noticed that too. The autofill makes it 10x easier to comment. Some sites also have Disqus which makes it easier. I’ve definitely been on the internet less in the summer and havent visited all my favorite websites in a while. I hope nothing happens to this one!!

        • Phee August 21, 2018 at 5:29 am #

          @Amanda F
same thing happens to me now. same time period. I cant seem to fix it at this site.
          Other sites seem to work.
          Annoying yes very….
of course I still comment as much as possible because im highly addicted to this site. Its the only fashion site I enjoy and look at every day, multi times a day. LOVE it!

        • Catherine Kallon August 21, 2018 at 9:11 am #

Hello Amanda F, thanks for this feedback. I will see if this can be fixed.

          • Amanda F August 23, 2018 at 2:26 am #

Thanks Catherine, glad I mentioned it. It just makes commenting easier which in turn could increase engagement. Another thing that I no longer see on your site is the little box that could be checked if one wished to be notified whenever someone responded to a comment that was left. Like this one for example. I had to go back to it to see if there was anyone else who commented because I was interested to see if anyone had the same issue. I think that feature was good because again, it increases engagement, can create a dialogue between commenters, and helps to create a sense of community among site visitors.

    • DorianGray August 20, 2018 at 6:24 pm #

I think it depends on social media growing power. I always read FC posts every day but sometimes it’s easier to comment on Instagram or Facebook. I hope this site won’t close again.

    • meme August 20, 2018 at 7:30 pm #

Same here. I love this site and Catherine, you are FABULOUS!

      • Catherine Kallon August 20, 2018 at 8:17 pm #

        thank you xxxx

    • TeaAtTwo August 20, 2018 at 7:39 pm #

Yes, it gives great escape from things in life and reading other comments and engaging with others can be funny and insightful. Anyone on Twitter, like and retweet RCFA tweets to promote Catherine’s fantastic and unique site and mention any fellow fashion friends.

      • Catherine Kallon August 20, 2018 at 8:17 pm #

I’m glad it gives you that escapism

        thanks for your support.
