Queen Letizia of Spain In Hugo Boss & Carolina Herrera – Almudaina Royal Palace

Queen Letizia of Spain In Hugo Boss & Carolina Herrera - Almudaina Royal Palace

Their Majesties King Felipe and Queens Letizia and Sofía hosted a reception at the Royal Palace of La Almudaina on Friday (3 August), for the authorities of the Balearic Islands, as well as representatives of Balearic society.

For me, this is how a royal dresses.

Queen Letizia is never shy of colour, style or grace, which is why I will always be inspired by her style.

On this occasion she teamed an orange Hugo Boss top with a navy print A-line Carolina Herrera skirt and Naguisa sandals and the result is effortless, chic – fit for a royal – or anyone who possess an ouch of style.

Had Meghan, Duchess of Sussex worn this on Saturday you’d still be trying to pick me up off the floor.

Personally, Mary is my go-to royal fashionista, but Letizia is certainly making my office wear look pale by comparison (snarkiness aside, she does big princess gowns very well as well though!)

As far as this particular look is concerned, I can see why it makes waves, but I neither like this particular floral print nor the orange top with it.

    Love this!

Love that orange! The whole look is lady-like and lovely. Works for me.

I like this look a lot, but Duchess Meghan isn’t a florals person. Duchess Kate, however, would look great in this. I think they would both find the top too casual for a wedding, though.

I agree with everyone else that the skirt should have sat a little higher on the waist. Other than that she is impeccable as usual.

“Had Meghan, Duchess of Sussex worn this on Saturday you’d still be trying to pick me up off the floor” LOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

    Leticia, amaaaaaaaaazing! Per usual 🙂

I love the colors but this makes her look very bottom heavy.

Meghan and Catherine, take note on embracing bright colours.

I think the skirt should have sat higher on her waist. Other than that, she looks lovely as always.

I don’t think this look is Meghan’s style. Definitely not the skirt. I think in time she will be more comfortable experimenting with brighter colours. We just have to be a little patient. Nothing wrong with elegant neutrals.

This is just OK for me and it’s definitely not Meghan’s style at all. And it’s suitable for a wedding.

I think Letizia looks incredible per usual, but is it not possible to praise her without tearing Meghan down?

Even though Letizia is my favorite royal of all time fashion wise, the only thing I love here is the skirt. I wish it was sitting higher on her waist.

Noone in the British Royal Family has ever dressed like Letizia though. Noone. Why should Meghan? She gets dragged for unruly strands of hair and I’m supposed to believe that if she picks bold colors and prints, it’ll be okay? Come on, Catherine lol.
