Rita Ora In Prada – 2018 Met Gala

Rita Ora shut down the red carpet with her entrance at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday (May 7) in New York City—not the least because of her magnificently long chiffon train.

While we’ve seen a lot of light and golden looks thus far, the songstress tapped into a darker side of heavenly fashion with this Prada gown.

Lit by bright floral appliques throughout, the design was a standout, especially when complemented by the drama of the glittery gloves, Lorraine Schwartz jewels, neon bag, and yes, the black-rose-covered headpiece—worn in homage to the theme, naturally.

Some may be getting Beyonce vibes from the headdress that reminded me of the one we saw on Queen Bey at the 2017 Grammy Awards.

But, this look was all Rita, and she owned the dark-angel quality.
