Felicity Jones In Ermanno Scervino – Cle de Peau Beaute Brand Relaunch

Felicity Jones was on hand to help Cle de Peau Beaute celebrate their Brand Relaunch at the Hotel Bel-Air on Wednesday (January 17) in Los Angeles, California.

The English actress wore a dainty Ermanno Scervino swollen blend lace slip dress overlapped on an all over rhinestone base from the Spring 2018 collection.

Some might think the black accessories were too hard a contrast with the beige dress, but on the flip side, there was a danger of this look feeling too one note.

I like how the belt provides some definition and shape to the dress.

René Caovilla sandals completed her look.

What are your thoughts?

I appreciate that she tried to break it up with a contrast but the dress was drab to start with.

It would pass as a fabulous night gown in the 1920’s,otherwise I don’t see the appeal of such designs.

It’s not terrible I guess, but so boring and dated and the black accessories are so uninspired. I see what she was doing with that black belt, but I feel like it takes away the airy charm of the dress and turns it into something genetic.
Also, add some colour – accessories in coral or something would’ve been so much better than black.
Also, the makeup isn’t bad, but the hairstyle, come on, it that’s what my mom does with her hair when she’s cleaning.
Again, I don’t think this is terrible, but mediocre looks make me madder than bad ones, because I know the potential is there! This is the definition of a mediocre look.

This would look so much worse if she weren’t standing in front of a beautiful floral backdrop.

I don’t really like the dress and it totally washes her out.

Accessories in a color other than black might have worked but this is such a bland and ill-fitting dress that it’s possible that nothing could really save this look.

I think she looks lovely but those black accessories are so uninspiring.

There are a lot of ways to liven this dress up. They could have used burgundy velvet and shoes with much more visual interest.

This is as boring as it gets. Money for nothing, if a professional stylist was involved.

Oh not, the cut and the color are not working on her, it’s really not flattering.
