In addition to Hailee Steinfeld, a few other stars were at Variety’s 1st Annual Hitmakers Luncheon on Saturday (November 18) in LA.
Kat Graham: Ever so coordinated to the day’s signage, Kat donned a John Galliano Spring 2018 suit. But, what I loved even more was the cool, preppy edge she brought to the tailoring with Gucci ‘Brixton’ horsebit loafers and a matching, cream hat. It was so relevant and effortless.
Machine Gun Kelly: I’m really intrigued by what the entertainer is bringing to the scene. With this OAMC parka jacket, cropped plaid pants, and Reebok classic sneakers, he’s colouring outside the lines of unconventional style, yet without an overly zany sense of try-hard. I would have just skipped the bathrobe sash.
Sabrina Carpenter: Even those this sheer No. 21 Spring 2018 dress had an element of sportiness in the hoodie detail, I found the belt and black Casadei boots to be too harsh of contrast for its more ethereal quality. The same goes for the makeup look.
This isn’t a look I’d associate with Kat and I like it. MGK looks interesting too. Sabrina looks awful.
I actually think Kat looks kind of cute…
the other two are definite No’s.
sabrina has recently been dressed by Yara Shahidi’s stylist, yet he seems to be more focused on Yara… That’s unfortunate because Sabrina’s very talented and is definitely going places.
No across the board. I can’t with Kat Graham anymore. She is so beautiful but makes such bad fashion choices.
Really intrigued by Machine Gun Kelly’s outfit, he can pull off a lot and I like that he doesn’t play it safe, but I also feel like it’s got one element too much; loose the belt or the glasses, I’d say.
Not liking the other two looks.
Re: Machine Gun Kelly. I also like that he’s trying to be more interesting, he just needs to up the chic value.
Ugh. 3 terrible outfits.
+1
@meme You are officially a troll. Machine Gun Kelly’s outfit is at least more exciting than all the ‘perfectly tailored suits’ you never tire of.
I really like Kat’s look, as you say it just looks effortless and comfy.
And I also like Machine Gun Kelly without the belt.
