Rita Ora In Gosha Rubchinskiy & Mulberry – BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards

Rita Ora attended the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards at Wembley Arena on Sunday (October 22) in London alongside Dua Lipa and Camila Cabello.

If you are anything like me you’ll be surprised to learn that this not Burberry.

This check print is synonymous with the brand; and proved to be a big focus for their September 2017 collection which Rihanna has recently worn.

Instead this look came courtesy of Gosha Rubchinskiy’s Spring 2018 collection.

I kinda don’t mind this nostalgic trip down memory lane, as I recall seeing this check print a lot in the 00s before Danniella Westbrook almost single-handedly ruined the brand with one look, but I do object to the socks and loafers combo. It took the look into boy scout territory.

Rita’s wore a crocheted Mulberry Fall 2017 lavender and saffron dress for a sketch she performed during the show styled with a military coat and hat.

The dress didn’t go down too well when it was worn by Amber Rose Revah earlier this month, so I’m not sure any love will be extended to its second outing.

It’s so rare so see crochet looks worn by celebrities. I have to say I’m starting to warm to this look.
