Hailey Baldwin has been making fashion statements on and off the runway during London Fashion Week, turning heads on Saturday (September 16) with a sunny yellow ensemble.
Injecting some joy, the model sported a HUGO Spring 2018 crinkle suit. Updating the traditional suiting silhouette, the jacket featured statement shoulders while above-the-knee shorts replaced the typical trousers. A whisper of a transparent silk top was just seen underneath.
Some might balk at the 1980s styling, but I’m in favour of the statement hoops and chunky black sunglasses. And I like the way she tucked in the sheer top.
I’m still not completely sold on the boots and I wish that the jacket sleeves were tailored to be the proper length. Thoughts?

those boots ruined the presumably fun outfit.
Now a slightly off-topic question:
Is this brand connected with HUGO BOSS by any chance?I’ve never heard of this brand before.
The coat is way too big for her and just looks odd. Also I cannot stand those kind of shorts. Just hideous shorts. The boots are a no thanks.
I don’t actually mind this – she is young and I think it’s a great time to experiment with style. In terms of being try hard – I’m not really sure what that means. If it means attention seeking then thats one thing but trying is actually good in my books – I mean it beats the alternative I guess?
IMO,it means desperate attention seeker. Nepotism at the nth grade.
This is pretty awful. I understand those who appreciate it being more interesting, more directional, but it’s just ugly. The boots are ugh, and combining this neon yellow with shades of beige, in the top and in the boots, is what I dislike the most about this.
The whole styling overcooks it, I think. Try-hard, for sure.
I don’t mind it I guess? I get what she was going for and appreciate it, but the end product is a bit sloppy, a bit try-hard, a bit all over the place…
Finally something interesting
I don’t mind the outfit itself but she comes off as try hard.
she holds the title Miss TryHard
indeed and she has man face.
I am not in favor of yellow for clothes, even if you are a brunette. It doesn’t help any complexion. My motto is “leave the yellow for accessories”…
So, no, just no to the styling ,shape, color!
I disagree. I think darker complexions are the ideal for yellow. Lupita or Viola rock yellow. It makes their skin pop out.
I agree with your examples, anyway, I prefer the beautiful tangerine Viola wore recently to yellow…I t is a thing I have, on the other hand white accessories for me are a no, every time I buy white shoes I give them away unused…
I hate yellow as well and for black girls I always think it is an easy style trick. They look good no doubt but I prefer any other colour.
I can’t with this one and this is one fug outfit.
+1
Count on me as well. She’s just too hungry.
unquenchable thirst
+3, those boots are awful/
No- don’t like this at all
