Sofia Vergara In Mark Zunino – 2017 Emmy Awards

In typical va-va-voom flair, Sofia Vergara struck a pose at the 2017 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 17) in LA.

The ‘Modern Family’ actress has never met an hourglass dress she didn’t like. And, after a few brushes with alternative silhouettes, she returned to her first love—the mermaid gown—with this exaggerated Mark Zunino design.

Perhaps that’s why the look left me with a distinct feeling of déjà vu despite her bangs and ponytail, which were likely used to bring a fresh, fun spirit to the sexy gown.

Her go-to, door-knocker chandelier earrings—this striking pair by Lorraine Schwartz—stood no chance of being missed.

I have a feeling the déjà vu vibe might leave many with the feeling that this look came off as rather dated—or even bridal at that. But, what do you make of it?
