Cara Delevingne In Burberry – ‘Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets’ London Premiere

Cara Delevingne continued to make a suit her style staple for her ‘Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets’ promo tour this evening (July 24), when she stepped onto the blue carpet for the London premiere.

I love how the actress looked ultra-cool in a classic cut custom Burberry black tailored suit with a crystal capelet inspired by British vintage jewellery.

Beauty-wise, Cara’s platinum blonde pixie crop was styled to framed her striking features beautifully.

My feelings on the ribbon hairband are undetermined. On the one hand I like the sweet, feminine element, but on the other, I don’t think this was the right look for it.

Bejeweled sandals plus jewels from Rachel Katz and Graziela Gems rounded out this inspired ensemble.

Without the capelet, it’s just an ordinary black suit, but with the embellished capelet neckline, it just jazzes things up a notch and it looks AMAZING. This custom Burberry pantsuit really suits Cara’s androgynous style and cool-girl personality. Despite wanting a gown-moment from her, I think Cara rocks the damn hell out of this look with much aplomb!! Head to toe PERFECTION and straight goes into my BDOTY list no doubt!!

I love it. Never mind the excess, I love excess in fashion when it’s as elegant and flattering as this.

She could sell anything to me, though, I’ve fallen a prey to her supermodel powers, I guess. She has the presence to sell this, with all its accesories.

    And I love me a well-tailored suit.

I really, really tried to get used to her new hairstyle, but I think more often than not it is not very flattering on her. In this case, the bold makeup totally overbalances it.

Besides that, I think the caplet would have worked better with a jumpsuit.

How very Cersei Lannister season 7 of her.

This is amazing from H2T for me! It’s going to be tough to beat for BDOTW. It’s perfect!

Cara is on fire. She has been winning non stop. I think the headband is not needed here but I can live with that

I’d ditch the headband but the capelet was a great addition.

The look gives a Gatsby vibe .It’s a modern updated look from the twenties .

  17. Chris July 24, 2017 at 10:08 pm #

    So good!

I love the caplet on it’s own, but it just doesn’t work with a suit. It would have looked stunning on a sleek black gown, the jacket lapels are working against it. While I like the ribbon in her hair (finally something different) and even the shoes, she looks over-accessorized as a whole. It’s like you can’t pick which thing to look at first.

Loving the sharpness of the suit and I’m on board with the statement capelet (it makes the look more interesting and sets it apart), although the look feels a bit overcooked overall with all the bejeweled elements and the added hairband….but all in all, I’m sold.

  21. stephanie July 24, 2017 at 9:20 pm #

I guess I’m alone in thinking that caplet does not at all go with the suit. it looks like way too much of an afterthought to me.

    • meme July 24, 2017 at 9:33 pm #

Nope. I dislike the caplet immensely. It’s just too much.

    • JHH July 24, 2017 at 11:14 pm #

No you are not alone. I also think that the beauty look is very unflattering.

    • SilentVisitor July 25, 2017 at 3:04 am #

It is just too much. I don’t think this jacket is the right one for the caplet. This is just too much; the headband is unnecessary as well

    • Lola July 26, 2017 at 5:58 pm #

Definitely agree! Way too much going on in the accessory department. Also that hair is tragic, I wish she would grow it out or darken it up-just do something!

I love everything about this look, head to toe.
