Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Not only have the men been making the rounds on the red carpet at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival over the last few days, some have also not been in France whilst attending to other premieres and events.

Chris Pine: At the ‘Wonder Woman’ LA premiere, Chris dressed to impress in a hyper-traditional Giorgio Armani Made to Measure three-piece suit complete with a pocket watch chain.

Harry Styles: With a distinct nod to retro style, Harry had a throwback moment in a custom Gucci embroidered suit prior to his performance at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood. I actually love the casual ’70s flair of the look.

Will Smith
: Sleekly buttoned up, Will did the double-breasted suit thing in top form at the ‘Ismael’s Ghosts’ Cannes premiere.

Robert Pattinson: Cool and effortless, Robert cut a fine profile in a blue Dior Homme suit that didn’t take itself too seriously at the ‘Good Time’ Cannes photocall.

Robert Pattinson: The actor continued his Dior Homme streak in a three-piece tuxedo at the ‘Good Time’ Cannes premiere. The slim fit and low-button vest put a modern edge on the classic tux.

Jeremy Renner: Also in Dior Homme, Jeremy kept it polished in his traditional tuxedo with tonal contrast lapels at ‘The Square’ Cannes Film Festival premiere.

Orlando Bloom: While I always like to see men change it up on the red carpet, the bright blue Nike sneakers made for an odd companion to the monochromatic navy Valentino suit at the ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ LA premiere. I was likewise bothered by the way the pants bunched above the shoes.

Orlando Bloom: Clearly in the sneaker mood, the pair of kicks he wore at the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ New York screening were on the dressier side to go with the Stella McCartney Spring 2017 Mohair Air Force Blue Suit. Yet, the dark tie was the odd man out here, and the bunchy effect of the trousers continued.

Josh Hartnett: Joining group of Dior Homme men in tuxes, Josh wore his classic black ensemble at ‘The Killing Of A Sacred Deer’ Cannes premiere.

Colin Farrell: Another actor, another Dior Homme black tux, with an impressively groomed Colin in attendance at the screening of “The Killing of a Sacred Deer” during the Cannes Film Festival.

Colin Farrell: Also exuding a sense of refined polish at his next appearance, Colin wore a navy Dior Homme suit at ‘The Beguiled’ Cannes photocall. The shoes could have used a boost, though, as a more inspiring, glossy pair would have been preferred.

Colin Farrell: With a trio of Dior Homme looks, Colin’s third ensemble may be my favourite at ‘The Killing Of A Sacred Deer’ Cannes premiere with its handsome elegance and sophistication.
