Freida Pinto In L.K. Bennett – The Lorraine Show

Following a disappointing end to the week for Freida Pinto, she was back on top form promoting ‘Guerilla’ on the Lorraine Show yesterday (April 16).

Stripes will never go out of fashion, the key is to keep them up-to-date which Freida has done here by opting for bold, graphic mismatched stripes which we saw on the runway at Missoni and Stella McCartney.

The look, which features a pleated L.K. Bennett skirt, feels so fresh and current for the season.

I love how the white belt as adds a retro twist with the nude pumps allowing everything above the ankles to shine.

This might be my favourite look so far.

That is a lot of look to take in. That being said she is pulling it off and looks charming even in the clashing prints.

I love the color block and mixed prints. A better look for her

Mmmm this might be a matter of taste, but I also find the pieces clashing. I do like the play between the prints, which, as Leandra points out, is well executed. It’s the colour scheme that puts me off.

I love this and the new direction her style has taken. Very… Thandie Newton.

I could totally see Thandie wearing this. It’s vibrant and fun.

Love both pieces individually and am intrigued by the combo.

If either the top or skirt were a solid color, this look would be perfect.

Instead both the top and skirt clash with each other and they don’t look right together.

I politely disagree. I think that the real charm of the outfit lays on the well executed play between the prints. The clash makes it stand out.
