Frieda Pinto In Temperley London – ‘Guerrilla’ London Premiere

Posted by Catherine Kallon

Freida Pinto’s ‘Guerrilla’ promo tour headed to London on Thursday (April 6), after many jaunts in New York City.

So far Freida has showcased a love for colour and prints, which I have really admired, however, I couldn’t get on board with Freida latest look from Temperley London’s Fall 2017 collection.

Why?

There is just way too much going on.

For a start I wish she opted to go sans jacket. But then when I look at the skirt, I think the jacket attempts to mask the odd silhouette the skirt would have given her since it sits so far up her waist.

All in all its a disappointing way for Freida to end the week.

    Oh no, she looks ridiculous.

I’m torn. On one hand I can admire her attitude on going unabashedly bold and trying something different but on the other I think there must be space for some restraint. I agree with you, there is too much going on.
The tromp-l’oel curtains on the shoulders are a big NO to me. And then, the frills and the ridiculous bow. Altogether it reminds a costume of Los Panchos or some mariachi thing.

Couldn’t agree more – this went, very quickly, from fashion to costume. Just too much.
