Faith Hill In Zuhair Murad – 2017 Grammy Awards

Faith Hill hit the red carpet of the 2017 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 12).

The country superstar wore an elegant, long-sleeved Zuhair Murad gown from the designer’s Pre-Fall 2017 collection.

Red is most certainly a color trend tonight, and the hue looks gorgeous on Faith, but I do take exception to a couple of her styling choices. First off, I really miss the belt from the runway look! I’m also having a hard time with the competing shades of red with the dress, shoes and clutch–they aren’t exact shade matches, and it’s distracting.

Finally, while her hair is absolute #goals on every level, leaving it down and voluminous detracts from the gown’s fierce shoulders.

Do you think I’m being too critical here of a truly lovely gown?

In the sea of tackiness, this is refreshing.

I like the dress and the clutch. The sandals’ shade of red troubles me as it only nearly matches but I am glad Faith is not wearing those dreadful tights. The fit around her waist seems a bit off: the belt would probably have sorted that out.

I like the red accessories but she should have kept the belt.

Missing a belt big time, and this feels a bit dated to me, adore the sandals.

I didn’t miss the belt until I saw this but I think it looked lovely without it. She looked classy and elegant and I actually really liked her hair the way it was.

Finally someone who saves the Grammys red carpet from being a circus. Graceful and classy.
