Julianne Moore In Saint Laurent – ‘Freeheld’ New York Premiere

Julianne Moore In Saint Laurent - 'Freeheld' New York Premiere

Julianne Moore attended the ‘Freeheld’ New York premiere at Museum of Modern Art on Monday (September 28) in New York City.

As usual, the actress embodied understated elegance from top to bottom.

This majestic Saint Laurent velvet number, which was accented with a beautifully decorated bow, was effortlessly styled with a black box clutch.

Simple elegance at its best, or too sombre for your liking?

Elegant and feminine, of course not particularly memorable but beautiful for sure.

Dull. But then I almost always find her fashion sense dull.

It’s JM in black uh-gain. It has a massive bow, in the middle no less. And yet it’s my favourite look of hers in a while. I like the relaxed vibe about it. Suits her.

Love this. It is right on point with her usual style. Elegant and effortlessly chic.

I wish the dress matched her presence…It’s not enough for me

While I’m not as bored with Julianne’s style as some others, I also have to admit though, that her style did start becoming very predictable in the second half of last year. During award season, she switched things up a tiny bit, but aside from that, 90% of her looks seem to be black, she basically always has her hair open and her make-up doesn’t change that much either. For now, her style is still working for me, but I’d also love to see her doing something different during the Mockingjay promotion, for example. Let’s see if there’s a chance for that to happen…

I’m one of the few who like Julianne in black; she and Julianna M. have a distinct elegance and poise that sell almost every single black outfit they offer.

    I absolutely LOVE this one!

Agreed. I never get bored with them in black.

The dress is nothing new but she looks so beautiful ! I love her hair and her make up.

Dull, as others said, tired of seeing her in black. The bow is silly but without the bow it would have been even more dull. This would definitely have been better short.

I hate to say it but she’s becoming so boring style-wise.

I love it, actually. Very elegant and graceful.
