Following Gucci’s Spring 2016 fashion show, François-Henri Pinault hosted a dinner party in honour of Alessandro Michele yesterday evening (September 23) in Milan, Italy.
Dakota Johnson: Following her FROW look and with so many interesting options available to her, I was slightly underwhelmed by Dakota’s Gucci Resort 2016 look. The Gucci metallic GG Marmont pumps try to lift the look, but I think the biggest detractor here are the tights.
Salma Hayek: We all know that Salma is at her best when her sex appeal is out to play, so I can’t say I am too enamoured by this Gucci Resort 2016 yellow skirt suit. The whole look read mother of the bride. Bring back sexy Salma.
Alexa Chung: The TV presenters fashion month usually skips Milan, but it would appear that Gucci have taken her under their wing this season, and I can’t say I’m surprised. Alessandro Michele granny-chic, glam-geek, androgynous aesthetic is perfectly suited to her style. On this occasion her Gucci Resort 2016 collection metallic gold pleated skirt provided the glam while her multi-coloured sweater brings out the geek.
Charlotte Casiraghi: The Gucci ambassador wore a dainty Gucci Spring 2016 daisy printed dress with an embroidered jewel ladybug brooch which was complemented by her red leather Gucci ‘Syliva’ sandals.
Gia Coppola: The actress wore a Gucci Fall 2015 pale rose plissé dress. I’m not too keen on the styling. I would’ve ditched the Gucci ‘Dionysus’ bag for a clutch and swapped those black lace up heels for a pair of those Gucci ‘Syliva’ sandals.
Anna Della Russo: Following her over styled FROW look, Anna toned things down for the party wearing a Resort 2016 gown.
