Amanda Peet In J. Mendel – 2015 SAG Awards

Amanda Peet In J. Mendel - 2015 SAG Awards

Amanda Peet attended the 2015 SAG Awards with her husband, ‘Game of Thrones’ producer David Benioff, on Sunday evening (January 25) at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California.

A mere 6 weeks after giving birth to her third child, the ‘Togetherness’ actress wore a strapless, pale pink J. Mendel gown with black accents.

I’m a fan of the dress itself. The black detail really modernizes and matures a color that can sometimes come across twee. It would have been better if there was an internal corset or straps on this however because Amanda needed additional support in the bust. The poor fit distracted from what could have been a really great look.

I like where she was going with the beauty look. The textured, messy bun, strong brow, edgy earrings and black nail polish should have read cool and modern. Unfortunately, the hair photographed very poorly and threw everything off but I’m with her in spirit.

Amanda’s hair never looks like she spent any time on it, this is no exception. There’s a difference between “effortless” and “undone” – dress is nearly ok but not the best.

Neck and neck with Laverne Cox for worst dressed of the event.

It looks awful. Saw another shot with her sideways to the camera. Makes her look like an 80 yr old woman in the boobs, because the black seems to disappear, and it looks like she’s drooping to the waist. She needs to practice with a camera BEFORE showing this type of style in public. Don’t these people have stylists to help them? I’m normally not one to pick on someone’s style, but that was ugly.

Her fashion choices are always so weird, and this is no exception. She is SO beautiful, doesn’t know how to present her beauty.

      I totally agree.

I don’t like this dress whatsoever! The structure is weird and it isn’t flattering on Amanda at all.
I’m also not a fan of her hair, I basically do the same thing after I finish washing my hair.

Unflattering, like a lot of J Mendel’s gowns.

I actually like the dress. It has interesting construction and I love the color combo. Her beauty look however is horrendous.

Seeing this on tv, my very first thought was she needed way more support. Not very flattering. I don’t see any problem with the hair. It looks fine to me.

The dress is not the most flattering and the hair is terrible.

What a weird looking middle section. What is that design?

      +1 Wondering the same thing

I actually like this on her, maybe because she usually gets it wrong on the red carpet.
