Lena Dunham In Creatures of the Wind – ‘Girls’ Season Four Premiere

Lena Dunham In Creatures of the Wind - ‘Girls’ Season Four Premiere

Lena Dunham joined her co-stars Allison Williams and Zosia Mamet for the season four premiere of ‘Girls’ held at the American Museum of Natural History on Monday (January 5) in New York City.

With her Giambattista Valli Couture ensemble (which I still maintain that I liked) being your least favourite look of 2014, you will be delighted to see her kick-start 2015 on a high note.

Lena, looking perhaps her best yet, wore a Creatures of the Wind Spring 2015 Japanese crepe cold-shoulder black dress enhanced with bronze, aqua-blue, green and yellow sequin embroidery.

The design is flattering, the colours vibrant, and the styling, which included Irene Neuwirth jewels and black sandals, couldn’t have been a more perfect way to complete this stunning look.

It’s a first, but I love it from head to toe.

What say you?

I like this for her. Not really fond of the design myself but it suits her quirkiness. Most importantly, the dress actually fits her really well. The lack of good fit in her clothes usually bothers me far more than her unusual fashion choices.

It seems to suit her & is flattering. (I like the contrasting colors.)

Not a fan of it per se (the shoes!), but it works wonders for her. She wins that night. By quite something.

I had to look twice – she looks good!

I love Lena but this is no better than any of her other disasters. It looks like curtains from the 70’s.

My first thought was – I don’t hate this. And I don’t! I think it works and she looks really nice. Hopefully her attire for Sunday won’t be a horror show.

Better than usual, and still touches on her quirky side.

Oh, love it!! But I’m one of those who actually like lena’s crazy style, especially her emmy awards dress, thought it was fun! But this is both interesting and flattering!
I can’t understand why some people think it’s a duty to dress “flattering” if you have curves and almost take it as a personal insult when they don’t.

An improvement but I still hate it

I’m surprised how mch I’m loving Lena. It’s a first but I hope it won’t be a last.

I like it but I don’t love it. It’s a huge improvement over many of her previous looks. Her hair and makeup are pretty.

Um, this is a GREAT look. Even her hair is lovely! I haven’t been as horrified by her fashion as others, but this is a fun look – I’m not sure how she can have detractors on this occasion.

    Wow! Love it

Lena looks beautiful. Her best look ever! I’m happy for her

She looks so adorable here, I just wanna give her a big hug!

Now, this is what I’m talking about, finally a success. The look is interesting, with a current edge, fits and flatters and is styled well, and she looks comfortable in it. Quite simply, this is, in fact, her best look up to date.

  18. Yeliz January 6, 2015 at 12:43 pm #

Not bad, but I don’t know, I still don’t really like it.

  19. Britta January 6, 2015 at 12:36 pm #

I agree. So much better! The dress is very flattering!

  20. Alina January 6, 2015 at 12:23 pm #

This is a great look for her. The dress is quirky, but still flattering. Hair and makeup are also on point. Well done.

Better than her most disasters on the RC. The dress is not bad on her. I say, this is a good start
