Marion Cotillard In Valentino – ‘Two Days, One Night’ AFI FEST 2014 Screening

Marion Cotillard In Valentino - 'Two Days, One Night' AFI FEST 2014 Screening

Marion Cotillard attended the screening of ‘Two Days, One Night’ during AFI FEST 2014 which was held at the Egyptian Theatre on Friday (November 7) in Hollywood, California.

What you are seeing is a rare sighting of the French beauty not wearing Dior.

Instead she wore a Valentino Spring 2015 pale-yellow pleated gown with a contrast collar and embroidered detailing.

The look is soft, elegant and so very chic with the retro ‘do and red lips, plus I feel this is refreshing, yet I would love to see Marion in something much edgier.

I think she would look great in Rodarte, Michael van der Ham or Giambattista Valli.

I’m really liking this on her, very surprisingly. It works for her.

I wish I could say I’m in love with this look but I can’t. It looks like it was a last minute decision.

Sad waste of a non-Dior moment. I almost never understand her choices.

I have been calling quite a few dresses ugly now and I feel rather sorry for it, but I can’t really think about a different word for this number: the colours, the pockets, the lip colour with it…

Love this look on Marion. So refreshing, chic and retro!! One of her best look for me

    I really like this.

She pulls this retro look off, but I still don’t really love it.

I dislike the red lip and yellow color on her but I still welcome this look. I’ve seen Marion do a lot of experimental looks such as dark ankle boots ruining pretty dresses, questionable silhouettes in stiff material, and unflattering structured hairdos. I actually find this refreshing.

Nay. I wanna see chic Marion, leave this bland demure-ness for Keira Knightly to pull off.

I personally think that bright lip makes this look – by preventing it from being too pale

I think this is incredibly gorgeous!! And I rarely like Marion on the RC, even when she doesn’t wear this Dior…but this is so beautiful and soft and chic and lovely! Lol
I think she’s a better fit for Valentino than Dior IMO

I love this. The hair is very 1940s and she looks gorgeous.

Marion looks beautiful but she can do so much better

  14. Marcel November 9, 2014 at 11:58 pm #

It is too bland. The faint yellow does not favour her skin tone. The silhouette is one of those actress from a 30ies Hollywood movie, kind of Claudette Colbert.
I agree that she should go for something edgier.

It’s beautiful for her. But on Saturday night she wore a Dior look that was on anothe level – one of her best Dior looks ever! That red gown at The Governors Awards makes her look so tall and so glamorous!

I love this refreshing look on Marion. This is a win for her.

      I agree.
