Lena Headey In Rubin Singer – 2014 Emmy Awards

Lena Headey In Rubin Singer – 2014 Emmy Awards

Lena Headey, aka Queen Cersei of ‘Game of Thrones,’ decided to go dark for the 2014 Emmy Awards on Monday (August 25) at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.

Her black damask gown from Rubin Singer’s Resort 2015 collection featured an asymmetrical neck and hemline. Additional details included a tucked bodice and full pleated skirt.

Lena softened her edgy look with peep-toe pumps, tousled short hair and peachy lips.

If you’re going to wear black on a warm summer evening, this is the way to do it. Do you agree that Lena was one of the queens of the Emmy Red Carpet?

I love the hair, the lower part of the dress with the shoe is out of it

I couldn’t disagree more. She looks like she was out skateboarding got home late threw on her Auntie’s gown and shoes and showed up because she had to.

Lol, yes, that summarizes it I think.

It looks heavy and drearily dull. Shoes are not helping either.

I like this. The gown is nothing to write home about, but it’s true to her style and she brings it with her sex appeal and attitude.

Not a fan of peep-plat’s myself, but I think she needed the extra height to expose her ankle. I don’t think she needs jewelry … because she accessorizes with tattoos. I love the black and minimalism on her. Clean, and sexy.

Bad shoe choice. This photo isn’t selling it, but she looked amazing on screen.

Her gorgeous face gives this outfit such a badass feel.

      Exactly my thoughts “badass feel”.

I don’t understand the shoes at all. This gown looked much better in movement. Here it just looks lacklustre. But I am in love with this woman, anyway. Hair and makeup are perfection. I know I am digressing but her voice is just mesmerising.

    Boring esp. with those peep-toes.

The dress seems dated and the styling isn’t helping.
She needed some jewels or at least an interesting clutch or shoes.
That being said, gorgeous from neck up.

+1 Love her head space, but the gown seems heavy, and dated. Wish she’d added a pop of color somewhere!
