Lupita Nyong’o In Bibhu Mohapatra – People and Time Magazine White House Correspondents Cocktail Party

Lupita Nyong’o returned to the red carpet on Friday (May 2) for the People and Time Magazine’s White House Correspondents’ Association cocktail party at the Astor Terrace of the St. Regis Hotel in Washington D.C.

The actress—and People Magazine’s World’s Most Beautiful woman—shone as brightly as always in an ivory Bibhu Mohapatra Fall 2014 full-skirted, cocktail frock, festooned with a bar code-like pattern of metallic gold and silver embellishment.

Wrapped into a structured V at the waist, the dress didn’t suffer without the black belt seen on the runway. In fact, I didn’t miss it at all.

The styling also worked well here, what with the complementary ivory Swarovski clutch, along with glittering silver Christian Louboutin pumps and the restrained sparkle of Fred Leighton jewels.

I cannot wait to see what she wears tonight at the 100th annual White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner.
